The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command, has deployed 3,700 personnel for Senator Ademola Adeleke’s inauguration as governor of Osun State.

Senator Adeleke will be sworn in as governor of the state on November 27, 2022, at the Osogbo City Stadium.

According to a statement issued by the Osun NSCDC Commandant, Agboola Sunday, and signed by Adeleke Kehinde, the Acting Public Relations Officer of the Osun NSCDC Command, the security outfit and other sister agencies in the state embarked on a show of force on Friday to send a message to criminals in the state.

“There will be a joint operation by all security agencies called “Operation Stop and Search” within the state at some identified flash points,” he says.

“This is not normal business. We know our job, and Osun State deserves better security architecture, which we have implemented.”

While appealing to parents and guardians to warn their children and wards against being used for mischief, Agboola also reaffirmed the corps’ commitment to upholding her security mandate.
