Police arrest 37yr old ammunition supplier, accomplice in Anambra
Operatives of the Delta State Command’s Decoy Squad led by ASP Julius Robinson have arrested a thirty-seven-year-old man, Chinedu Enenmo ‘m’ 37yrs and his accomplice, Donatus Ndukan ‘m’ 34yrs who supply cartridges to suspected armed robbers, kidnappers and cultists.
The two suspects are from Akere Ogidi and Urom Communities in Ogbaru and Awka Local Government Areas of Anambra State.
The Police recovered from the first suspect, two hundred and fifty (250) rounds of live cartridges.
It was the confession of the first suspect that led to the arrest of the other.
The Delta State Police Command led by CP Wale Abass confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe.
He said, “During the course of investigations, the suspect gave useful information about his accomplice and led the operatives to the Fegge area of Onitsha in Anambra State where one Donatus Ndukan ‘m’ 34yrs of Urom community in Awka-North LGA of Anambra State whom he described as his boss in the business was also arrested.”
According to DSP Edafe, “Both suspects are in custody and investigation is ongoing”.
