Police commend Inspector for kindness to health worker on ATM queue
The Police on Friday acknowledged the kind gesture of Inspector Tobi Kulani Kanadi attached to Police Mobile Force 44, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Force Public Relations, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, said the officer was recognized for being a worthy ambassador.
The police commended Kanadi for his thoughtfulness in ceding his N2,000 (the maximum daily allocated) to a health worker.
The Inspector had met the civilian on a long queue at an Automated Teller Machine, ATM, at the National Hospital in Abuja.
The staff needed to make an urgent withdrawal before proceeding to attend to medical emergencies but pleas to others was rebuffed until Kanadi intervened.
Adejobi said looking out for the people remained part of policing values, noting that it was heartwarming to see the officer display benevolence.
“Inspector Toju, we commend your exemplary gesture as a good ambassador of the Nigeria Police Force”, the spokesperson added
