The senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC, Pastor Paul Enenche has urged Nigerians to massively reject any plot to postpone the forthcoming general election.

DAILY POST reports that consequent on the crisis caused by the scarcity of new naira notes and Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, some stakeholders have alleged that the current administration was plotting to postpone the election.

Recall that the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike on Saturday alleged that the move by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to redesign the naira was aimed at causing riots in the country, which would lead to the postponement of the February and March polls.

Speaking on the matter on Sunday in Abuja, Pastor Enenche said there is no need for any postponement.

According to him: “If INEC is ready, every attempt for postponement of the election shall be rejected. It should be massively rejected.

“If the election will be credible as we trust God to be, every attempt and arrangement for the postponement shall be resisted.”
