Tinubu appoints executive secretary for Almajiri National Commission, SSA on chieftaincy matters
President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ja’afar Isa, a retired Brigadier General, as Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education.
The president also appointed Hashim Abbas as his Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Matters.
The appointments were announced in a statement by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale.
Ja’afar Isa is a respected leader and was the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from 1993 to 1996, while Tijani Abbas is the Sarkin Sudan Kano.
Ngelale said the president anticipates that the new appointees will bring their vast experience to these important roles, which impact society’s core.
He said the president also assured Nigerians that his administration’s drive to guarantee Nigeria’s out-of-school children the most comprehensive education would be realized in the superseding interest of the nation’s future.
