Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), chided the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Aitku Abubakar, over Halliburton bribery scandal.

Daily Trust reports that Tinubu who spoke during the national consultative forum themed: “Nigeria on the right track” said Nigerians have crossed the red ocean and they cannot be taken back to Egypt.

TRACKNEWS.NG gathered that the forum was organised by the National Committee of Buhari Support Groups.

The APC national leader: “They said we should not talk about the past. We must look at what you have done before. We have to look at the Halliburton issue.

Tinubu while speaking about the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, said after using the APC to win election in 2015 maintained that “Saraki used our mandate to give lifeline to the opposition. leadership is about character.

”He left PDP, joined us, got elected and sold our mandate for a pot of porridge. God is honest, Saraki is not.”

Meanwhile, TRACKNEWS.NG had reported that National leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, restated the support of south west for President Buhari ahead of general elections.

Tinubu made this known after the swearing in of Chief Gboyega Oyetola as the new governor of Osun state.

According to him, “We are solidly behind President Buhari. No shaking. We are not going back to the past years of greed. There is no room for any other party in the south west.”
