Niger Delta Confirmed Amnesty Beneficiaries Forum to Ex-Militants Leaders, Caution Nigeria Military over Ijaw community imvasolion.

TRACKING_____The Coordinator of Niger Delta Confirmed Amnesty Beneficiaries forum (NDCABF) Comrade Christopher Adaka also known as son of the soil, blames all ex-militant leaders from the 3 Phases for keeping mute over the unprofessional reactionary modus operandi of the Nigerian Military who are being funded by proceeds of oil and gas exploration and exploitation from the Niger-Delta Region.

The sole reason of the Presidential Amnesty Programme is to ensure peace in the entire region. This relative peace agreement between Ex Militants and the Federal government is being truncated by the unprofessionalism of the Military, the Federal government’s silence on this issue of incessant attacks on our peaceful Ijaw Communities shows their complicity.

These invasion and burning down of our ancestral homes will no longer be tolerated: we are against criminality, however we will strongly oppose any sinister plans to disseminate our ancestral homes. If the Military displays this show of force in the North East, BokoHaram would have been a thing of the past.

If the military destroys any community that is harbouring BokoHaram members, the whole of Borno State and by extension the North would have been wiped out.

In as much as we are restrained by the agreement we signed in 2009 with the Federal Government, we will not fail to resist intimidation and harrassment of our people in any guise. We have never failed to protect ourselves and interest from both internal and external aggressions.

Recently, one of the most popular Ijaw community (FORUPA) in Southern Ijaw local g.overnment of Bayelsa state was burnt down by the military, this act is reactional and unprofessional as it goes against best global practices and the right to a fair hearing.

This is one of the reasons ex- militant leaders needs to setup a Security outfit through the Presidential Amnesty Office so as to work, liaise and synergize with security agencies for efficient service delivery (Community Policing ).

On a final note, I call on all ex agitators, highly spirited Niger-Deltans to come together and condemn this act of attacks on our ancestral homes: this action is only but reactionary and vindictive in nature, In one voice we need to call the military to order because this reactionary move “might” lead to a breakdown of the existing peace, as our people “might” result to self help because you cannot beat a man and still stop that man from crying: injury for one is injury to all, Injustice to one is an injustice to all Egberi Faa.
