As part of activities marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, the National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Phase 2, Gen.Salvation Ibena Rufus, on Thursday led ex-agitators, leaders, and beneficiaries of PAP in a Solidarity Rally and Independence Day Felicitation with the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Chief (Dr.) Dennis Burutu Otuaro, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The historic gathering also witnessed the official unveiling of the “Door-to-Door Movement” for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 reelection bid a grassroots-driven platform designed to galvanize nationwide support for the President’s second term ambition.

Speaking at the event, the leadership and beneficiaries of PAP:
Congratulated Nigerians on the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary, describing it as a moment of reflection, unity, and renewed hope.
Appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) and the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, for sustaining the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
Celebrated Chief Dennis Otuaro, the PAP Administrator, for his transparency, accountability, political will, and unwavering commitment to peace and development in the Niger Delta.
Declared total and unconditional support for the Administrator, pledging loyalty throughout his tenure.
Appealed to President Tinubu to remove the Presidential Amnesty Programme from the Treasury Single Account (TSA), noting that the unique nature of PAP as a security intervention requires timely funding to manage emergencies effectively.
Unveiled the “Door-to-Door Movement” as a vehicle to rally massive grassroots mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
The rally ended with renewed calls for peace, stability, and development in the Niger Delta, while reaffirming the group’s dedication to the unity and progress of Nigeria.
