The Nigerian Male Basketball Team, popularly known as ‘D‘Tigers‘, honored the late legendary Nigerian musician Sound Sultan in the recent game they played against Australia.

Sound Sultan, known to be a big fan and believer of Nigerian Basketball, died on the 11th of July 2021 after a long battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma. Hence, in his honor, D’Tigers observed a one-minute silence for the legendary singer, songwriter, rapper, and fashion enthusiast.

Away from the one-minute silence that was observed, the players also rocked customized white t-shirts that had the image of the late Sound Sultan in them.
