TRACKING______Nigerians have reacted to the photo of President Muhammadu Buhari and his team in Ethiopia paying a one minute silence to honour more than 30 people who were burnt to death by insurgents in Borno State on February 10, 2020
A Presidential aide on New Media Bashir Ahmad made this known in a photo he shared on his verified twitter handle a few minutes ago.
Recall that insurgents stormed Auno, a village close to Maiduguri, saw stranded motorists and set them including cars and lorries ablaze.

The action has sparked outrage on social media and it has drawn global condemnation. Governor of Borno State Prof. Babagana Zulum blamed the military for withdrawing their men on the location.

Opposition parties including the presidential candidate of the Peoples democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general election have spoken against the act.

Sadly, a student of Mass Communication Department at the Maiduguri University was one of the victims.

Hundreds of buhari’s critics said he should have cut short his meeting at Ethiopia when the incidence happened yesterday.

What’s your reaction? Do you think paying a minute silence is what Nigerians need at this trying moment?
