The All Progressives Congress (APCsame-faith )’s presidential ticket has been backed by Governor Yahaya Bello, who is confident that Nigerians will support the team of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.
The Kogi State governor’s remark came after the party’s announcement of Shettima, a former Borno State governor and a Muslim, as Tinubu’s running mate for the 2023 elections.
On Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Friday, he stated, “Nigerian politicians should be more mature; we should take politics out of it.”

The former APC presidential candidate claimed that despite the controversy surrounding the party’s nominee, Tinubu and Shettima represent a “total change from what is now taking place.”
