Adeleye Kunle Reports
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has protested the detention of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to South East politicians in Abuja, Track News reports.
In a statement issued on Monday, IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful urged Igbo politicians to put pressure on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to release the Biafra agitator.
Powerful advised politicians not to return to the South East until the IPOB leader was released in accordance with the United Nations’ directive.
The IPOB spokesman went on to say that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is no longer safe following the terrorist attack on the Kuje Correctional Center and other facilities.
He went on to say that the entire South is no longer safe, and that there is an urgent need for the entire region to rethink its strategy and arrest the already infiltrated terrorists as soon as possible.
“As terrorists and insecurity take over Nigeria’s seat of power, Abuja, we the global movement and noble family of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to remind the so-called Elders and politicians of Igbo extraction of Biafra in Abuja never to return home to Biafraland without Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”
“It is undeniable that these terrorists and jihadists will descend on Western and Eastern Nigeria after seizing power in the Zoo.” The entire South is no longer saved, and there is an urgent need for the entire South to rethink its strategy and get the already infiltrated terrorists out of our territories as soon as possible.
“Because there is fire on the mountain and Abuja is surrounded by terrorists, we advise Biafra politicians in Abuja to never consider returning to the South East Region without Mazi Nnamdi KANU.”
“They must do everything possible to ensure that Mazi Nnamdi KANU returns to the East with them, because Abuja is no longer safe.”
“We have repeatedly warned our people that the Fulani people are preparing to take over Nigeria and forcefully Islamize the country, but they have never heeded our warnings.” The Eagles have patched at the point of killing in Nigeria, and our people will not be able to escape without the assistance of IPOB and ESN Volunteers.
“The land of Biafra and our forefathers will not spare them if they return to the East without Mazi Nnamdi KANU’s unconditional release from DSS custody.”
“All Eastern politicians, businessmen and women, traditional rulers, Senators and members of the Federal House of Representatives, religious men and women, and governors must ensure the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi KANU as ordered by the United Nations, or the land will not be able to contain us and them.”
“We have the records of those useful idiots who conspired with the zoo government to kidnap and extradite Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria last June.” Those useful idiots and their generations will have no place in the land unless MAZI NNAMDI KANU is unconditionally released and compensated for the flagrant violation of his fundamental human rights, as directed by the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.
“However, if you ignore this peaceful advice, we will ignore your plea when the jungle matures.” Our people and Nigeria should understand that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu holds the key to Nigeria’s peace, particularly in the East.”
