Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, DELTA State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, said yesterday that Nigeria has failed under the All Progressives Congress, APC-led Federal Government.
Oborevwori, who began chatting with newsmen in Uyo, the Akwa-Ibom State capital, during the official launch of the PDP Presidential Campaign, insisted that the PDP was coming on a rescue mission to right the wrongs committed by the APC over the last eight years.
“Nigerians cannot afford to return the APC to power,” he said, adding that “the PDP is coming on a rescue mission to salvage the bad situation the APC has plunged the country into since 2015.”
“The PDP ruled this country before, and we did very well.” The APC came with their lies, and the country has failed under their leadership.”
“You can see the level of insecurity in the country and the collapsed economy,” said Oborevwori, who is also the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and the National Deputy Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria. As a result, the PDP has offered to save the country.”
