The umbrella body of Lawyers from Ogbia extraction of Bayelsa State, the Ogbia Lawyers’ Forum under the Chairmanship of Nelson Abali, Esq. has started operating from her Secretariat named after His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Facility which was donated by Dr. Promise Ekio, retired Permanent Secretary / Honourable Commissioner for Science and Technology, Bayelsa State and furnished with Monies donated by Barr. Azibaola Robert, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kakatar / Zeetin Groups is located at Suite 1, De Princess Apartments, near Federal University Otuoke Administrative building, Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Speaking shortly after an Executive Council meeting, Nelson Abali, Esq., the Forum’s Chairman, stated that with the Office in place, the Forum is better positioned, more than ever, to contribute her quota towards the development and growth of Ogbia Kingdom and Society generally through Legal Advocacy, Community Services and execution of projects, appreciating all the Persons who have identified with the Forum.
