OGBORU HAS OVERSTAYED HIS WELCOME IN DELTA GUBER RACE – OLOROGUN FRED MAJEMITE.

Legal icon and astute politician, Olorogun Fred Majemite has berated the unconfirmed Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Delta State, Chief Great Ogboru, over what he called Ogboru’s quest for leadership without corresponding vision and sincerity of purpose.

He noted that Ogboru, the APC controversial candidate, as can be seen from pending legal tussles occasioned by multiple APC Delta guber primaries, has over the years exposed himself as a seasonal or periodic politician who only appear on the political radar ten months to governorship primaries and general elections; and thereafter disappear again to reappear three years to another election, pointing out that such an unstable political contractor does not deserve the respect and votes of Deltans and the good people of Delta Central.

Majemite in a chat with the Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta state on Communicatios, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe at the Asaba Airport upon the duo’s arrival from Lagos over the weekend, further posited that Ogboru has not been able to exhibit any strong leadership traits and or intellectual potentials needed to drive socioeconomic development hence Deltans are suspicious of his desperation to become Governor, even though it is glaring that he lacked the capacity to function in that office.

He advised Ogboru to immediately quit the political stage on the ground that he (Ogboru) has overstayed his welcome in Delta gubernatorial arena, judging from his consistent failures at the polls, spanning nearly two decades and still counting.

Majemite warned that should Ogboru fail to humble himself and take a bow before 2019 gubernatorial election in the state, he shall experience the worst electioneering disgeace, adding that Urhobo Nation of Delta Central have since resolved to vote overwhelmingly for the re-election of incumbent Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

He said the Urhobo Nation and Deltans support for Okowa originates from the universal principles of equity and good conscience which guarantees peace, progress and unity in constitutional democracies, adding that the enviable performance of the governor coupled with Deltans resolve to allow two tenure of eight years for Delta North has already jeopardised the fragile and self centered political interests of Ogboru and his tiny cabal of infamous, visionless and vain power seekers.
