Ogun LGAs share N2.93bn federal allocation in January

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has revealed details of the federal revenue allocation received by each of the 20 local governments in Ogun State in January 2021.

The report, subtitled, “details of distribution of revenue allocation to Local Government Councils by Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for the month of December 2020, shared in January 2021” was published late in March.

According to the NBS, the total allocation for the 20 LGAs in Ogun State was N2,936,016,784.79.

Out of the money, Ado-Odo/Ota took the largest share of N244,548,558.76; followed by Ifo with N241,472,075.58.

TrackNews Online reports that Remo North has the lowest share of N105,947,965.56; just as Ewekoro received a sum of N107,081,039.62.

The NBS said the data was as received from the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Abuja.

TrackNews Online gathered that for the month under review, Ogun State Government received a total of N3,325,059,730.08 from the FAAC.
