Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governor Ifeanyi Okowa says only the platform can beat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Southwest.
The Delta helmsman made the declaration at the PDP Southeast zonal stakeholders’ meeting in Enugu on Tuesday.
Okowa boasted that the PDP has the strength and capacity to win the 2023 general elections in all the six geo-political zones.
The governor said the party was getting stronger in the Northwest and Northeast.
“In the North-Central and the South-South, we have become strong; and PDP is in charge in the Southeast.
“We saw what happened in Osun. We are in charge of Oyo and Ondo States.
“A lot is happening in Ogun and Ekiti and even in Lagos State, PDP is going to compete favourably”; Track News quoted him saying.
The running mate to Atiku Abubakar said the presence of other parties would be felt in a few places during the polls.
Okowa assured that Atiku, a former vice president, has the solution to Nigeria’s problems due to his knowledge, experience and capacity
