Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen could return to action for Napoli after the international break.

The 23-year-old has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury in Napoli’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Tuesday, September 8.

The Nigeria international was substituted in the 41st minute of the encounter.

Osimhen has missed the Partenopei’s UEFA Champions League clash against Rangers and Serie A games against Spezia and AC Milan

Napoli is unbeaten in his absence with two wins and one draw.

According to Tutto Napoli, the striker is expected to be back in action in Napoli’s Serie A game against Cremonese on October 9.
