**Says The Gov Diri Is A Visionary Leader Who Knows The Way, Goes The Way, And Shows The Way.

The National Leader of Otita Transformation Movement, better known as Otita Force Worldwide, Prince Gabriel Jonah, aka, the Otita 1 and Prince of Kpongbokiri, has on behalf of all Otitans globally, welcomed and congratulated the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, for joining the All Progressive Congress (APC).

In a statement released by his media assistant, Tari Agai, Gabriel Jonah, said Gov Diri’s decision to defect to the APC is clearly driven by his desire to take advantage of all possible avenues that can guaranttee his assured properity for Bayelsa state, and not his personal interest, given that he is already serving his second term with no possibility of re-election.

The Otita 1 and Prince of Kpongbokiri who acknowledged Gov Diri as a visionary leader who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way, attributed the massive turnout for the defection ceremony to the governor’s inclusive leadership that has so far created an environment where every Bayelsan feels valued, respected, empowered and fulfilled.

He said Bayelsa State is now one big united family under Diri, citing the book of Genesis 11:6 to emphasize that with this unity, the state’s possibilities for achieving greatness will be unstopable, expressing confidence that this newfound unity will bring about a fresh wave of development and progress, empowering the Governor to lead more effectively.

While calling on APC members in the state, particularly in Nembe LGA, to emulate Gov Diri’s leadership model, which emphasizes peace, unity, and development, the Otita 1, also urged them to bridge the gap between old and new party members, fostering a sense of unity and shared identity.

He advised them to dismiss fears of old or new members overshadowing the others, as the new leader, is a man of peace and unity who had consistently shown fairness to old APC members, by giving them numerous appointments in his executive council and other positions, even when he was in the PDP, stressing that the Governor’s fatherly nature and kindness transcend party lines, embracing all Bayelsans regardless of their individual affiliations.

The Otita 1 and Prince of Kpongbokiri, also expressed gratitude to all Otitans for their understanding and support during and after the last governorship election, noting that their decision to support Gov Diri despite party difference at the time, has been vindicated not only by the massive developmental projects that are scattered all over the state, but also his movement to politically align with them in the APC, which has further given the Assured Properity in Bayelsa State, a Renewed Hope.
