TRACKING____Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has reiterated his commitment to the health and general well-being of the people.

He said the state is yet to receive financial support from any quarter for the management of COVID-19.

Oyetola, who spoke yesterday while receiving donation of some personal protective tools from the Fidelity Bank in his office, said the state retained its status as one of the top three states in Nigeria with the best facilities to combat the pandemic.

He said: “Osun is one of the first five states, number three to be specific, ranked to have the best preparation to tackle COVID-19. We have 350 isolation beds spread across locations.

“From the inception of our administration, we have embarked on rehabilitation, renovation and revitalisation of over 300 primary health care centres (PHC), one per ward, across the state with 256 already completed. We regularly purchase drugs for these PHCs and equip them with medical and para-medical personnel and equipment.”
