Oyo guber: Makinde wins Ladoja’s polling unit

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has won the polling unit of a former governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.

Makinde, who is seeking a second term on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, scored 98 votes to defeat other candidates.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Teslim Folarin, scored 35 votes.

The gubernatorial and the state House of Assembly elections were conducted in all the 33 local government areas of the state on Saturday
