Oyo may begin arrest of face mask defaulters

TRACKING ___OYO State Government said on Wednesday that it might be forced to begin the arrest and prosecution of those who failed to wear face mask in public, if the one month enforcement on compliance did not yield result.

It said it may embark on the arrest and prosecution of face mask defaulters, as the measures adopted to ensure that the protocols and guidelines are followed, are not working.

The government gave the warning while launching a one month enforcement of compliance to COVID-19 preventive measures at markets, after which arrest and prosecution of violators will follow.
