The Peter Obi Support Network has praised Valentine Ozigbo, the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate for governor of Anambra State in the 2021 election, for joining the Obedient Movement.
Prior to the 2023 presidential election, Ozigbo reportedly left the PDP and supported the previous governor of Anambra State, according to Track News.
Ozigbo explained his choice to Arise TV on Thursday, saying that in order to guide Nigeria into the future during this perilous period in its history, a capable and forward-thinking leader must be chosen.
Onwuasoanya Jones, the LP candidate’s spokesperson, expressed gratitude to Ozigbo for supporting the party’s presidential candidate in a statement released on Saturday.
The endorsement of Obi, according to Jones, is long overdue since Ozigbo is a patriotic Nigerian who is passionate about creating a functioning, progressive, and united country.
He claimed that Obi’s formal backing of his campaign demonstrated that he was a forward-thinking nationalist with a strong desire for a prosperous and functional Nigeria.
In order to save the nation from impending tragedy, he pushed more patriots to follow Ozigbo’s lead and join the “Obidient” movement.
He is a patriotic Nigerian who is passionate about creating a working, progressive, and united country, therefore it is in no way surprising that he has announced his intention to join the most well-liked and promising people’s movement in the annals of Nigerian politics’ Fourth Republic.
“We are delighted to welcome him and guarantee him of our complete assistance in seeing that this movement is led to success for the benefit of all Nigerians. We have always known that his heart has been with this movement.
“This is not the time to be passive; rather, it is the moment for every true Nigerian and supporter of progress to stand with the people and actively take part in reversing the course of our beloved country.
