YENAGOA_____The chairman of Bayelsa State Emergency Management Agency (BYSEMA) Hon. Igrubia has congratulated His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State on his unopposed emergence as the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) gubernatorial flag bearer ahead of the November 11, 2023 Governorship elections in Bayelsa State.
A statement made available to the news by the chairman affirmed that Diri’s unopposed victorious emergence at the primaries indicates the absolute and unwavering support he enjoys and how well he has performed in the governance of the state.
Hon. Walamam Igrubia noted that the PDP in the state is united behind the governor to achieve victory come November 11, 2023, to enable him to continue to secure our communities, grow our economy, consolidate, and bring more prosperity to our dear State, Bayelsa.
“Now, our party is more united behind our governor and the candidate of our party in achieving victory come November 11, 2023, to ensure he continues with his mandate of securing the lives and properties as well as consolidating on the political mantra of prosperity across the state.
“The peaceful, unanimous, and unopposed endorsement of the governor as the flag bearer shows that PDP remains the party that can best deliver on the priorities of the Bayelsa people, which has been demonstrated with the peaceful conduct of our party guber primaries.
On behalf of the board and members of the Bayelsa State Emergency Management Agency, I congratulate our Miracle Governor on his emergence as flag-bearer of our party, and we believe Senator Diri will safeguard and improve on his first tenure of democratic achievements and legacy.
