●●Hails Mr Woyengikuro Daniel for his position as National Financial Secretary
Chairman of PDP in Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa state, Chief Ikoro Willabo Slyvanus congratulates the newly elected PDP National Working Committee executives at the just concluded National Convention.
Willabo, was most particular about the ease and peace that characterised the process as it reflects the togetherness and orderliness of the PDP.
The PDP Chieftain, while thanking the outgoing executives whose tenure will elapse by December, charged the new executives to continue on the strong and focused momentum PDP has been known for.
Hon Willabo, particularly hailed Mr Woyengikuro Daniel, for clinching the seat of the National Financial Secretary, noting that this is the first time a Bayelsan will be occupying a seat at the NWC of the party.
Willabo also commended the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri for the moral and logistics support he gave Bayelsa State delegates at the National Convention, stating that the governor is a dedicated party leader.
The position of National Chairman was declared unopposed and won by Senator Iyorchia Ayu who has been both a Senate President and Minister of Federal Republic of Nigeria. While the National Secretary position was declared unopposed and occupied by Senator Samuel Anyanwu. For the position of National Youth Leader, 25 years old Mohammed Kadade Suleiman won the seat. Out of the 21 seats, 18 was declared unopposed.
The elected officers of the party shall serve for a period of four years.
