TRACKING >>Amb. ( Dr.) Godknows Boladei Igali has pledged to restructure the educational system of Bayelsa State and improve existing educational facilities. He said this in a meeting with some delegates of the PDP for the forthcoming governorship primaries. He also stressed the need to fast track Infrastructural development, which according to him underpins commerce and tourism. He said under his watch all senatorial roads would be strategically located by terminating at the Ocean, to attract foreign investors to our coastal areas, adding that bridges will be built from the terminal points to link other communities. He also pledged to create specialized harbours for fishing to enhance job creation for our people. Amb Igali promised to make the Bayelsa Cargo Airport a hub for the South South zone.
With regards to power, the leading aspirant said he will bring his wealth of experience as a former Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Power to solve the electricity challenges of the state. He said there are creative ways which he had adopted at the Federal level that can be effectively deployed in the state.
