PDP reportedly demanding Buhari’s disqualification from presidential race

News reports have revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are demanding for President Muhammadu Buhari’s disqualification from the 2019 presidential election.

According to the reports, The party’s National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, reportedly made the call during PDP’s rally in Enugu state on Friday, February 1, 2019.

Daily Post reports that Secondus accused Buhari of arranging for mercenaries from Niger Republic to rig the election.

He said, “By the power conferred on me as the PDP national chairman, I call on the INEC Chairman, Mr. Yakubu to disqualify Buhari from contesting the election.”
