A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia state, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, has declared that the people of the state will shed tears, if he opens the can of Worms, as it regards the ongoing corruption within the state’s administration by the present government

Ogbonnaya, who spoke while reacting to the corruption within the state, declared; “People will shed tears in Abia if we open the can of worms. Not everybody is happy with what is happening here. I’m not happy… because pensioners are not paid while few nonentities are paid N2million, N1billion in one swoop in the name of contractors.”

The PDP chieftain, who visibly lamented the corruption in the current government, went further to ask the incoming Governor, Dr Alex Otti, to probe the persons within the outgoing administration in order to overhaul the present situation.
