Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has revealed that the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs afforded him the opportunity to see the best players in the league.

Peseiro said the fear of insecurity has hindered him from travelling to watch other teams in the league.

He also stressed that he will invite more players from the league in future.

“It’s a good thing that the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs was staged here in Lagos,” he told Track news during the teams training in Lagos.

“The fear of insecurity has hindered me from watching other teams in the league.

“I have penciled down more players to be invited in the future.”

Ebube Duru, Divine Nwachukwu, Victor Sochima and Ojo Olorunleke are the players selected from the Nigeria Premier League for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone on Sunday
