The mass funeral service for worshippers killed by gunmen at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State a few weeks ago has commenced.

Recall that gunmen thirteen days ago stormed the church and killed not less than forty people, while several others were injured.

Tracknews gathered that the funeral mass started at 10:00 am after the caskets bearing the bodies of the deceased were brought in.

The funeral service for victims of the attack is been held at Mydas Resort, Owo, with the state Governo, Rotimi Akeredolu in attendance with other top personalities.

The mass took off following the procession into the hall by Catholic priests.
