Chief (Barr.) Dumo Lulu-Briggs was one of the centre of attention few days ago during the burial ceremony of his late father, High Chief Olu Benson Lulu-Briggs, OON, DCF, DSSRS, the Iniikeriroari V of Kalabari Kingdom and the paramount Head of the Oruwari House of Abonnema was laid to rest in his hometown.
High Chief Olu Benson Lulu-Briggs was reportedly died in 2018 but his burial was stalled due to different Court cases between his wife, Senibo Lulu-Briggs and his son, Chief (Barr.) Dumo Lulu-Briggs.
After series litigation, the burial of Kalabari High Chief, Olu Benson Lulu-Briggs was finally done in his Abonnema country home in Rivers State.
His first son, Domo Lulu-Briggs was in hand to welcome different top dignitaries who came to honour his father’s burial.
Some of the top personalities at the burial ceremony in Abonnema was the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, his wife, Patience Jonathan, Rivers State Governor, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, his deputy, Dr. Ipalibo Gogo Banigo, former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke and his wife, Nigeria Ministers, representative of the Nigeria First Lady, Aisha Buhari, former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Timi Alaine, among other notable personalities.
Also Clergys, traditional Rulers, captains of industries and well wishers were also at the burial of High Chief Olu Benson Lulu-Briggs.
