Police Arrest 32-year-old Man With Gun In Lagos

A 32-year-old man, Abubakar Yahaya Ibrahim, has been arrested for illegal possession of firearms in Lagos State.

This was disclosed in a post on X by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, in the state, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.

According to the post, the suspect and two others were stopped by police officers at about 2am in Igbo Elerin area.

“Though all three fled, Abubakar was eventually apprehended and searched. Found in his bag were a locally fabricated double-barrel firearm, one expended and one live cartridge,” Hundeyin added, ” saying that “investigation is ongoing.”
