It is high time the good and enduring political gladiators of Arogbo kingdom be conscious of what 2023 election may look like. With all sense of fairness, equality and justice no local government, Ward, town or village is more resourceful than the other in terms of human resources. If I’m correct why must we allow a given set of people to dominate the political stage?
In statement made available to www.tracknews.ng by the Former Chairman IYC Arogbo Clan the Present CBN Western Zone Comrade Abednego Opere Samuel said, It’s on record that Ese-odo person has not represented us at the upper chambers, while all the rest 5 local governments in the senatorial district have been represented. At the level of the federal constituency (Ilaje/Ese-odo) Ilaje is dominating the scene as though it’s their birthright, while our Apoi brothers took advantage of their closeness to the Ilaje man and succeeded in not less than 3 terms at the house of representative.
Without fear or favor I want to categorically state that it is time for an Ese-odo indigene to be voted for as regards the senatorial seat while Arogbo man is voted for house of Representative, Anything short of that is injustice of the highest order.
Therefore, fairness should be introduced into the polity to right the wrong indigene and candidate for the office. Moreso, in terms of appointment the same fairness should be introduced
The mentality of who has Mr President’s blessing take it all be discouraged, or who has Mr Governor’s favor take it all.
For instance, NDDC and OSOPADEC is meant for both Ilaje and Ese-odo but the Ilaje man is erroneously taking it as a birthright.
If we want to be sincere and allow our polity to be devoid of bitterness there is the utmost requisite to shift ground for one another.
