2022 Flood: Gov Douye Diri Visits More Ravaged Communities In Bayelsa State

As the FG & most especially Minister Of Humanitarian Affair and Disaster’s Management remains in her comfy office in Abuja to cook figures from only God’s knows in ascertaining which State is more or less affected by the 2022 flood, Sen. Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State continues to traverse the length and breadth of the state to give succor to Bayelsans whose communities have been altered by the ravaging flood.

Yesterday, The CEO TrackNews Nigeria Hon. Ogidi Ben Bara (OBB) & his Crew joined The Executive Governor of Bayelsa State to visit more flood impacted communities in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. The communities visited among other communities submerged by the 2022 flood include; Korokorosei, Ologbobiri, Ekeowe, Opuama, Eniwari and Igbomotoru.The visit was to enable the Governor note the degree at which the flood is disrupting Bayelsans in their communities, most especially their means of survival in the creeks of Bayelsa State.The visit which affer the Governor an opportunity to directly feel the pains of his people, left the them with rekindled hopes and, anticipated succour to meliorate the flood victims’ anguish.The people (flood victims) were happy seeing their Governor (Sen. Douye Diri) joining them in their communities, this challenging times.

The Governor was joined by His Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Abraham Ingobere, the Bayelsa Central Senatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, Rt Hon. Konbowei Benson and other top Government functionaries.
