2023: Osinbajo Issues Directive to His Campaign Team Appointed by Tinubu
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria, has urged all staff of his office who are members of the presidential campaign council of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu to give their all to the assignment.
According to Track News, Osinbajo issued the directive during a meeting with the relevant parties on Sunday.
Speaking about the meeting, Ajuri Ngelale, a senior presidential media aide and spokesperson for the Tinubu-Shettima campaign organization, said Osinbajo emphasized the importance of the assignment and urged them to carry it out without delay.
He also urged the public to disregard any information to the contrary.
Ngelale shared the news on Twitter, writing, “It must be noted that in a meeting today, H.E. VP @ProfOsinbajo has encouraged all OVP staff — who were privileged to be appointed into the @officialABAT
2023 Presidential Campaign Council — to give their all to the critical effort without delay. Please disregard the contrary.”
It will be recalled that, despite rumors that Osinbajo had been removed from the APC presidential campaign council, the Vice President and Tinubu met in Abuja last week.
According to Track News, the two leaders met on Tuesday at the presidential villa.
