Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, will be in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, on Thursday to address a group of private sector drivers, including investors, manufacturers, and traders, among others, ahead of his main campaign in the state in the coming days.

Governor Hope Uzodimma made the announcement on Wednesday after arriving at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri from the APC Presidential Campaign flag-off in Jos Plateau State on Tuesday.

The Governor, who is also the APC Coordinator for the South East Presidential Campaign Council, has reiterated his call for the Igbo in Jos to be a part of the central government of Nigeria by embracing the APC agenda, which he claims is already a success story in Imo.

“The only way to be a part of Nigeria is to be a part of the central government, and the central government is controlled by the APC,” he insisted.

Governor Uzodimma stated that he has not seen any calculation in Nigeria’s population of over 200 million people that will “whisk-off APC,” adding that “in Imo State, there are reasons why all and sundry should encourage APC.”

“And you don’t change the winning team because the APC is winning in Imo State and the rest of the Federation, so it should continue,” he insisted.

Uzodinma urged all APC members to participate in the aforementioned programs.
