The Court of Appeal in Abuja has scheduled Thursday, November 23, 2023, as the day for delivering judgment in the Nasarawa State governorship election dispute involving Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who was sacked by the Election Petition Tribunal.

In reference to the appeal filed by Governor Sule challenging the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal’s decision, which nullified his election and declared Ombugadu the rightful winner of the March 18 poll, the appellate court had earlier reserved judgment on November 15, 2023.

Ahead of the impending judgment, the Nasarawa State Police Command has heightened security measures throughout the state to prevent any potential breach of peace.
