Fubara: We will allow you control the state but we will not allow you to make us cry- Nyesom Wike
Former Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has offered a word of caution to the Governor-elect, Siminalayi Fubara, as the leadership of the state was handed over to him. Wike expressed his desire for Fubara to surpass the achievements of his predecessors. He emphasized that the incoming leader should govern the state in the right direction, seeking guidance from former governors.
Wike stressed the importance of handling the state with care, acknowledging its immense potential for success. He encouraged Fubara to capitalize on this potential and surpass the accomplishments of previous administrations. While the incumbent governor pledged not to impede Fubara’s control over the state, he also made it clear that they would not tolerate any actions that would cause distress to the people.
