G5 Governor Ortom ‘endorses’ Peter Obi

One of the aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Samuel Ortom of Benue State, has said Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 election is “a man that can help deliver Nigeria from the challenges that we have”.
According to Track News, Ortom said this on Sunday during Obi’s visit to Benue State, praising the former Anambra State governor’s compassion.
Obi had gone to one of Benue State’s IDP camps to celebrate Christmas with the people who had fled their homes.
“Because I have seen capacity, I have faith and hope, I have seen someone that can bring the required equity, justice and fairness that some of us have been pursuing since I became governor in 2015, if I were not in PDP, I would have been following you all over the place to canvass votes for you.
“However, as a PDP member, I will continue to tell Nigerians that this is a man who can help this country overcome its challenges,” Ortom said.
