All Progressive Congress, APC, Gombe South Senatorial District, yesterday passed a vote of confidence on Governor Inuwa Yahaya and endorsed him for second term.
At a Townhall meeting of the party held in Kaltungo, the stakeholders reviewed the performance of the ruling APC Government under Governor Inuwa Yahaya in terms of delivery of his campaign promises in Gombe South and gave him a pass mark.
The senator representing APC Gombe South, Bulus Amos, who read the communiqué, said the Gombe South APC members decided to pass a vote of confidence and endorse the governor for second term after assessing, evaluating and acknowledging the unprecedented level of development, high level appointments and countless dividends of democracy brought to the zone by the APC-led government in the state.
“This happened under the stewardship of Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the governor of Gombe State, within a very short period of two years. We do hereby declare our unanimous, sincere and total confidence in him and equally proclaim him a man of fulfilment, accomplishment, integrity and honesty.
“Accordingly, the APC and indeed its entire followership in Gombe South Senatorial District- men, women, young and old have on this day, the 18th of September, 2021 passed a Vote of Confidence on His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Governor of Gombe State for his laudable achievements in the areas of peace and security, infrastructural, social, and economic development of Gombe South Senatorial District,” he said.
