IGALI CONGRATULATE ATIKU
**COMMENDS OKOWA FOR SUCCESSFUL PRIMARY**
THE immediate past permanent secretary federal ministry of power and leader of Niger Delta, Amb. Godknows Boladei Igali has congratulated former Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Alahaji Atiku Abubakar on his well-deserved emergence as the Presidential flag bearer of the People’s Democratic Party.
Briefing journalist in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the venue of the PDP convention, Amb. Igali in his congratulatory message to Atiku Abubakar, Said “Atiku’s wide consultations before the PDP convention was proof of his hard work and concerted efforts expended towards wining the primary, we are expecting similar landslide victory at the general election. We will work assiduously for our party’s victory in 2019″.
Igali also commended the executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who successfully chaired the PDP’s National convention, stating that we are seriously proud of governor Okowa and his abilities to manage and coordinate PDP activities within and outside Delta State.
At the same time he lauded Bayelsa State Governor Hon. Henry Dickson for his strong position on restructuring which he set a tone for a process that lead to the emergence of the Presidential candidate.
He further appeal to the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a free and fair 2019 general election, adding that this will play a key role in deepening our nascent democracy and give Nigerian’s a sense of Democratic involvement in government.
Commending PDP leadership for the hitch free PDP Convention. Igali said,” we commend the PDP leadership for making the right choice and also hosting the convention in the heart of the Niger Delta, Port-Harcourt Rivers State, i am appealing to all aspirants to extends hands of friendship to the new presidential party’s flag bearer and gallantly march towards 2019 presidential election.
