In Kano, APC supporters march in support of Tinubu
All Progressives Congress (APC) Support Groups in Kano staged a one-million Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) Walk for Tinubu/Shettima in Kano, Kano State, yesterday.
In his address to the groups, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje urged them to ensure massive mobilization for the APC to ensure its victory at all levels in the 2023 general election.
Kano State, according to Ganduje, will always be an APC state because the people at the grassroots have benefited greatly from the dividends of democracy provided by his administration.
He stated that the PVC match had a turnout of over three million people due to the party’s massive support base in the state.
The governor said the party was pleased with the large number of young people who attended the event, calling it a sign of victory in the 2023 election.
“The success of the rally is a clear statement and demonstration of our teeming youths’ preference in terms of the choices before them,” he said.
“It also demonstrates a thorough understanding of our presidential candidate’s platform.”
“Support for Gawun/Garo represents a vote of confidence in our governorship candidate and his deputy,” he said.
Nasiru Gawuna, Kano deputy governor and APC governorship candidate, urged party supporters to stay focused on victory in the 2023 election.
He stated that Tinubu possesses the character, capacity, and competence to lead Nigeria to the Promised Land.
The PVC Walk was organized by APC support groups led by Bappa Danagundi, Director, Northwest Support Group for Tinubu Campaign Council.
The walk, which began in the morning at the Kano Emir’s palace, took participants along State Road to the Government House Roundabout and ended at the Racecourse in the Government Reserve Area (GRA).
