Kogi: Natasha calls for investigations over alleged attack on Bello’s convoy
The Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Kogi Central in the 2023 general election, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Sunday, called for urgent investigations into the alleged attack on Governor Bello’s convoy by the supporters of the Governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party, SDP, Murtala Yakubu-Ajaka
Natasha, who stated this in a statement she signed on Sunday, said the alleged attack was politically motivated, describing it as a smear campaign against Yakubu-Ajaka
According to her, both Bello and Ajaka were already accusing each other of assassination attempts, just as she called for an investigation before it would go out of control.
“The attack was a ploy to implicate Ajaka to be disqualified by INEC in the forthcoming Nov. 11 governorship election,” she alleged
