My husband is Fulani, but not a murderer – Atiku’s wife
Titi Abubakar, the wife of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has stated that her husband is not a murderer.
She noticed that her husband is a Fulani man, but he is not a murderer in any way.
According to Track News, she made her point while speaking at a campaign rally in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, on Wednesday.
Addressing the crowd of supporters, Atiku’s wife stated that the former Vice President won the 2019 Nigerian presidential election but was robbed.
Titi also promised the Ondo people that her husband would defeat Boko Haram and provide scholarships for students at the same event.
“My people, I, your daughter, standing in your presence to tell you that my husband has done it before,” she said. My husband won the last election, but we were robbed. My husband is a Fulani, but he is not a murderer, and we have been together for a long time. I taught him about our culture and traditions, and he is now a member of our family.” During Obasanjo’s tenure, it was Atiku who championed the likes of Elrufai, Ngozi Okonjo-iweala, and others who served Nigeria well.”
Concerning Uncertainty
If Atiku is elected in 2023, his wife has promised that he will address insecurity and defeat Boko Haram and other terrorist groups.
“Atiku will defeat Boko Haram and provide you with scholarships,” she said.
Why was Atiku chosen?
She went on to say that voting for Atiku is a vote for Yoruba people because the country has never had a Yoruba first lady, but that will change if Atiku wins the 2023 election.
“There has never been a Yoruba First Lady, and voting for Atiku is a vote for Yoruba.” There is hunger in the land; do not be misled by the opposition; vote for all PDP candidates during the election,” she pleaded.
