Ndoma-Egba: APC’ll win C’River for Achigbe
The Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, has promised that the death of the state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Dr. Mathew Achigbe, was a sacrifice that the party will not al-low to go in vain. The former Senate Leader said the party would win all the elective positions in the state as well as the national level so as to give the late Achigbe peace in the grave. Ndoma-Egba, who spoke yesterday at the lying-instate of the late Achigbe at the APC Secretariat along Marian Road, noted that what members of the party could do to honour the late chairman, is to ensure that every position contested in the 2019 election is won for the party. “Death is like rain that drops on every roof. What has happened is that Achigbe has only gone ahead of us. He was a good, intelligent, courageous, peaceful and gentle party man. He was a man of great substance. And, as we mourn, we should not mourn as people without hope,” he said. Ndoma-Egba added: “For the death of our chairman not to be in vain, we must ensure that APC wins all the elective positions in the 2019 election. That is what we should do to give our late chairman a peaceful rest. Our chairman was a man of true substance.
