#NigeriaDecides: INEC Postpones Voting In Some Edo LGA To March 11
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed voting in Edo State to March 11.
INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, made this known on Saturday at the second leg of the situation report on the 2023 election at the National Collation Centre, Abuja.
Yakubu revealed that elections in some local government areas in Edo will be held on the said date because the voting process was disrupted.
INEC Cancels Election In 141 Polling Units In Bayelsa
Meanwhile, INEC has suspended elections in 141 polling units of Bayelsa state over the account of violence.
According to the INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, the exercise was postponed in the affected polling units because the voting process was disrupted.
