No Matter Where Igbo Man Lives, He Always Desires To Be Brought Back For Burial When He Dies- Soludo
The Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has said that he wants to build a state that every Anambra person will be proud of, a state that his children and grandchildren will be happy to live in. He said that he wants to transform the state into a prosperous land that people will desire to be. He said this during an event in Awka, capital of Anambra, which was held to mark his one year in office.
Soludo said that wherever the Igbo man lives, he always desires to be taken back home and buried when he dies, and that he does not want to build a state that people will only desire to be taken to for burial, but he wants to build a state that they can be happy to live in.
In the report which was made by Daily Post, he said – “We want to transform Anambra to a liveable and prosperous homeland so that wherever we are, we will desire to be here. The Igbo man no matter where he lives, always desires to be brought back and buried here when they die. But we want to build a state we will not only be happy to be brought back for burial, but that we will also like to live in.”
Speaking further, he said that he will be proud to live in Anambra after his tenure, as he added that Anambra is getting better now. He also called on the wealthy people from Anambra to bring part of their investments to the state.
