North Central Senate Caucus Hails President Tinubu over the Appointments of Senator Akume, Hadejia, Gbajabiamila
The North Central Senate Caucus has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointments of their colleagues; Senators George Akume and Ibrahim Hadejia as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, describing their appointments are a well deserved one.
The North Central Senate Caucus equally commended the President for appointing the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the Chief of Staff to the President, saying that the Speaker is “a round peg in the round hole”.
The North Central Senate Caucus in a statement by its Chairman and Senator representing Niger East Senatorial district, Senator Mohmmed Sani Musa, said the President has done the North Central proud by appointing one of its own to the esteem position of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, adding that this shows that the President recognizes the contributions of the North Central Zone to his electoral victory.
Senator Sani Musa in the statement which was signed by his Media Assistant, Wale Bakare, while extending the forum heartfelt congratulations to the appointees, expressed the optimism that the SGF, the Chief of Staff and his Deputy will leverage their wealth of experience as to make a significant impact in his new role.
The North Central Caucus leader, Senator Sani Musa specifically singled out Senator George Akume for praises, stressing that his appointment as Secretary to the Government of the Federation is “a testament to his loyalty to the party, unwavering commitment to the Nigerian people, and ability to drive positive change in the new government”.
He equally expressed full confidence in Senator Ibrahim Hadejia’s ability and commitment to the Nigerian project and wished them all a successful and impactful tenure in their new positions.
The forum therefore commended the President “for his visionary leadership in appointing these exceptional individuals and entrusting them with these critical responsibilities”, assuring that “under Asiwaju’s leadership, Nigeria will continue to grow and prosper with renewed hope”
The North Central Senate Caucus then prayed for a peaceful tenure marked by unity, progress, and the unwavering pursuit of a brighter future for all Nigerians.
