PDP praises Ikpeazu for developing Abia, promoting party’s ideology
TRACKING_____The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has praised Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State for remaining steadfast and promoting the ideology of the party which has attracted thousands of members of the opposition parties, especially the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and the All Progressive Congress (APC) into the ruling party in the state.
In a statement signed by its Chairman in Abia State, Hon Allwell Asiforo Okere, and made available to newsmen in Umuahia, on Tuesday, the PDP leadership commended Ikpeazu for fulfilling his election campaign promises in line with the PDP manifesto by embarking and completing projects that have direct benefit to residents of the state.
According to the statement, “The party is proud of the Governor for constructing numerous quality roads, making improved security, provision of quality education; healthcare services; agriculture, sports, social development and empowerment of women, youths and the less privileged persons through the Vicar Hope Foundation established by the office of the Wife of the Governor, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu”.
The party reiterated its total loyalty and passed a vote of confidence on the leadership prowess of the governor, urging opposition parties in the state to join hands with the latter in transforming the state to another level.
