**Re—affirms Apapa as National Chairman of Labour Party

The political fight between Abure and Lamidi Apapa on who is the authentic national chairman of Labour Party, has turned another dimension yesterday following the Supreme Court order affirming Lamidi Apapa as the recognized Nati

onal Chairman of the party today 28th of September 2023.

Below is the records sighed by Dr Arabambi Abayomi
National Publicity Secretary Labour Party today.

RE- APPEAL NO. SC/CV/897/2023:

Between

SIR BASIL MADUKA
vs
1) LABOUR PARTY

2) Independent Electoral National commission (INEC) (

3) Chief Ikechukwu Ukaegbu Joseph

SUPREME COURT REAFFIRMED LAMIDI APAPA AS LP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN: SACKED ATHAN ACHONU AND BASIL MADUKA AS IMO LP GUBER CANDIDATE

Our attention was drawn to some lies from the pit of hell spurned out by the police criminally indicted forger and throughly demonized, demented ,bitter ,miss directed and thoroughly demystified political lilliputians and domicile Peter OBI puppets and Former National Chairman of Labour Party Mr Julius Abure who want to make their argument looks as if it’s was in the best interest of general public.

Ladies and Gentlemen

This is an appeal borne out of the Judgment of the Court of Appeal which affirmed the Federal High Court Judgment wherein the Court validated the primary conducted by Alhaji Lamidi Apapa in Imo State on 16th of April, 2023 as the authentic primary and declared Chief Ikechukwu Ukaegbu who participated and emerged from the Apapa led Labour Party’s primary as the authentic candidate of the Labour Party in Imo State for the purpose of participating in the Imo State gubernatorial election slated for 11/11/2023.

You may wish to recall that Sir Basil Maduka, Sen. Athan Achonu (candidates of the Abure faction of the Labour Party l) and the Julius Abure led faction of the Labour Party had earlier appealed against the judgment of the Federal High Court to the Court of Appeal and all their appeals were dismissed as lacking in merit thereby affirming the judgment of the Federal High Court in favour of the Alhaji Lamidi Apapa led faction of the Labour Party.

Dissatisfied with the dismissal of their appeals by the court of Appeal, the same Sen. Athan Achonu, Sir Basil Maduka and the Julius Abure led faction of the Labour Party appealed against the Court of Appeal judgments to the Supreme Court.

Indeed, three separate appeals were filed by them; one by Sen. Athan Achonu, the second by the Abure’s faction of the Labour Party and the third by Sir Basil Maduka (an aspirant who also participated in the primary conducted by the Abure faction).

As can be gleaned from the rulings of the apex court, the appeals filed by Sen. Athan Achonu and the Abure faction of the Labour Party were dismissed on 11th day of Sept, 2023 while the one filed by Sir Basil Maduka was dismissed this morning, the 28th day of September, 2023 having been compelled by the Court to withdraw same for want of merit.

Consequently, the judgment of the Federal High Court which affirmed the validity of the primary conducted by Alhaji Lamidi Apapa in Imo State on 16th April, 2023 stands and remain unassailable.

Thus the following are now the Governorship candidates of Labour

(1)IMO STATE

CHIEF UKAEGBU IKECHUKWU JOSEPH IKENGA

(2) BAYELSA STATE

HON MRS BLESSING AZIBANAGBAL CLEMENT

(3)KOGI STATE
COL Dr VINCENT ENEMONA ABU RTD

Conclusively

Mr Peter OBI ,, POLICE CRIMINALLY INDICTED JULIUS ABURE AND THEIR DEFEATED General SEN ATHAN ACHONU are past characters in Labour Party

They are not only bunch of brainwashed and brainless political hawks but confused and confirmed Political bucarneers and predators whose arguments are not only bland but an wholesome arrant balderdash

They have loose the War and consumed by the BATTLE

Signed
Dr Arabambi Abayomi
National Publicity Secretary
